Train My Heart To Worship

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer.

Prayer

Father, you are over all & you reign as righteous king. Thank you for revealing a glimpse of your glory in your creation; a creation that seems to shout your glory without uttering a word. Thank you for revealing your heart for us in Your Word. Father, your Word is perfect. It does not lack anything, instead it is complete and fully reliable. Your Word is right and your way is justice. Your Word is good and your laws are for our good. Father, you are faithful and your words are absolutely true and trustworthy. Your Words give life anew, wisdom for right living, joy that overflows, insight into righteousness, and goodness. Your Word will never end. Increase my desire for Your Word, Your Way, and Your Will. Decrease my desire for my thoughts, my ways, and my desires. Father, thank you for your forgiveness. Help me to walk in your way. Reveal my errors so I may repent from my ways and turn to yours. Father, may my words, my thoughts, and my desires be acceptable to you. Train me to speak your truth in love. Train my heart to worship you in all that I do, say, and desire. You alone are holy. You alone are worthy. You are my rock and my redeemer.

Training

God has revealed Himself to us clearly. We can experience God’s glory in His creation. The sun and the stars declare the power and majesty of their creator. We can experience God’s glory in His Word. His Word declares His way for life and righteousness, His salvation of us through Jesus that demonstrates His love for us, and His desire to be known by us communally and personally.

Our choice is how we will respond to God’s grandeur and grace.

Warriors, our God is glorious beyond compare. His way is perfect. He will not fail you. His Word will not misguide you. His presence is worth all suffering.

Walk in His way. Speak truth in love. Train your heart to worship.
