King Over All

Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling
- Psalm 2:11

Prayer

Eternal Father, You are the creator and sustainer. You spoke and the world came to be. You reign supreme and you set Jesus as king over all. You are my King. King over all, I come to you for refuge. Thank you for allowing me to serve you, my Lord. You reign sovereign, the power of life and death, curses and blessing, and all authority is yours —and yours alone. You are greater than all and no one can stand before you or against you or your will. Fill my heart with joy repeatedly in every moment to worship you as my King.

Training

Generation after generation there are those who worship Christ as king and those who do all that they can to “dethrone” God and worship themselves or others as “king”. God will not be dethroned.

When we put God on the throne of our hearts He invites us to take refuge in Him so that He can bless us. He calls us to serve Him and He fills us with joy as He accomplishes in us and through us what only He can do as we give our lives to serve Him.

Warriors, it’s time that we give God the place of honor and devotion in our hearts. It’s time that we worship Jesus as King over all.
