You have put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and wine abound.

Prayer

Father, you are holy, set apart, and completely righteous in all your ways. You designed our hearts to long for more. Father, answer me when I pray, shine your glory upon us. Fill my heart with peace that allows me to rest in you when I am stressed and when I don’t feel secure. Fill my heart with trust in you as I go on mission for you and when I doubt your grace. Fill my heart with your hope-giving joy when I celebrate and when I suffer. Fill my heart, God.

Training

Only God can fully fill and satisfy our hearts. Other things and people will fight for our attention, but they will let us down if we try to use them to fill our hearts.

God has made a way where there was no way. Through Jesus we are made righteous and in His grace God will answer when we call. Our God is in control of every big and little detail of our lives and he listens when we call. His presence in our lives and goodness toward us fills our heart with an unshakeable peace and an overflowing joy.

Warriors, God will hold you secure and will fill your heart if you just ask.
